After moving to Australia from Kent in the UK at 4 years old Russell grew up and attended school in Perth’s Northern Suburbs.
For as long as he or anyone else can remember Russell has had a passion and calling to work with animals. Growing up with family dog Scamper, budgies and numerous goldfish, Russell was always the first in the car to help with vet visits and keen to help with any care that he could.
Following high school Russell attended UWA where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, graduating with honours.
With this degree behind him, he took some time to travel and fulfil a lifelong dream to go on Safari. After travelling he returned to Perth where he attended the Veterinary course at Murdoch University, graduating in 2012.
Following graduation, Russell worked for Collie Veterinary Services for 2.5 years as a mixed animal veterinarian before joining the Eaton Pet Vet team in April, 2015.
Russell has a keen interest in Veterinary Surgery focusing on orthopaedics and abdominal procedures. Russell loves the variety that Veterinary medicine brings daily and loves seeing all creatures from the very small ferrets and rats to slippery snakes and lizards and of course the various breeds and sizes of cats and dogs that come to visit.
As our large animal veterinarian, Russell is also always happy to head out of the clinic to attend to livestock and special bigger pets including horses, cattle and sheep.
Russell is the proud daddy to his fur child Henry a 5-year-old Staffy x Labrador who you may be lucky enough to have come and greet you as you enter the clinic during the day.

Since he was a kid growing up in the countryside of West Arthur, Isaac developed a deep love and fascination for the wild and domestic animals that surrounded him.
Wanting to make a career out of it, Isaac completed his prerequisite animal studies in 2020, before beginning his veterinary nursing course at AVT and his practical training at Eaton Pet Vet the same year. After graduating as a veterinary nurse in 2022, Isaac has been with the EPV team ever since.
If you don’t see Isaac running around in the clinic, you’ll most likely find him hiking in the back trails of WA or getting beaten up by his cats in the comfort of his home.
