Surgical & Dental Care

Routine, elective, emergency surgeries and dental procedures are performed regularly in our hospital by experienced Veterinarians and nurses. Our surgeons are adept at a range of surgeries from castrations and spays to orthopaedic, dental and abdominal surgeries.

Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art anaesthetic monitoring equipment to ensure the safest and most comfortable surgical experience possible.

An estimated cost for surgical procedures will be discussed with you at the time of the consultation, while we make all effort to provide an estimate that is as accurate as possible please keep in mind that no procedures are the same and many factors can result in variation of costs.

In the rare case where we do not have the facilities or expertise to perform a specific surgery, our vets may discuss with you the option of referral to a specialist surgeon.

HOW WE CAN HELP

Our Surgical Services

Sterilisation is recommended for most dogs from six months of age for most breeds of dogs (we will only do from 6 months unless medically required) and cats are legally required to be desexed by 6 months of age.

Our desexing procedures are aimed at offering your pet a quick and safe recovery with minimum discomfort.

We are proud to offer an extensive range of orthopaedic services performed by our experienced Veterinarians, including Tibial tuberosity advancement, Patellar Luxation, and complex fracture repairs.

Has your furry friend eaten something that they shouldn’t have? Abdomen surgery may be the solution. We can assist with Intestinal and Gastric Obstructions, Foreign Body Removal and Bladder Stone Removals.

Just like humans, our pets are vulnerable to gum disease and problems with their teeth. Dental disease is one of the most common problems we see and regular check-ups and cleanings can save them a lot of pain and issues later in life.

We offer an extensive range of dental treatments from the elective to the unavoidable. Whether it’s a general clean, scale and polish or a more complex extraction, your pet is in the best hands.

Eaton Pet Vet’s skilled veterinarians can perform the vast majority of soft tissue procedures and are committed to getting the best outcome for your pet’s health.

Common soft tissue surgical procedures include lump removals, abscess lancing and drainage, wound suturing, and intestinal surgery..

We perform a thorough examination and any necessary further testing to diagnose lumps affecting an animal’s health, mobility, or well being. Your vet will then discuss the recommended treatment plan with you.
